Welcome to More Than Marketing! I am Jeff and I created this blog to help businesses and organizations see how social media can help them in more ways that just as a marketing tool. I started More Than Marketing after working with social media for over 4 years helping to create social networks, establishing blogs for other companies, teaching others how to collaborate effectively, and writing my second book A Beginner’s Guide to MediaWiki due out in 2010 from Packt Publishing

In addition to my work with social media tools, I am a writer whose work has been published at IBM developerWorks, ComputerWorld, and Green@Work to name a few. I also work for a large school district in Florida working with educational technology and collaboration.
